Fit for the Holidays (FFH) powered by Whole Foods Market is a free wellness program designed to help working adults eat well and stay active through the holiday season. With all the food and fun during the holidays, it is difficult to maintain healthy eating and exercise habits. It doesn't have to be that way and FFH is here to help! Our program includes:
-
Free pre- and post- body metrics testing
-
Free tips on healthy eating on a budget
-
Free healthy holiday recipes
-
Free walk/run training plans for beginner through advanced levels
-
Free weekly walks/runs with a certified running coach
-
Invitations to special events with various program sponsors, like cooking classes with Whole Foods Market
-
Free kick-off event at Capital Athletic Club on Tuesday, October 13 at 5:30 p.m.
-
Program culminates with My First 5k Walk/Run (and Kids' Winter Fun Run) on January 3, 2010.
Click Here to Register for Fit for the Holidays. Register individually or form a team of colleagues or friends. Teams must decide on a common Team Name before registering. The largest team to complete the program (meaning your team was represented by at least one member at a minimum of seven events) will win a special prize. Together we can celebrate the holidays, each other, and our health!
