Committees and Advisory Councils

Each focus area includes two separate groups of people who work to promote our programs: Working Committees and Advisory Councils. For a list of organizations/industries represented on our Committees and Advisory Councils, click on the relevant focus area below.

The Working Committees meet regularly (by phone or in person) to develop, manage and promote our programs and Task Force mission. The Working Committees have a limited number of members, volunteer their time on an on-going basis, and are considered experts in their respective health/wellness fields.

The second group consists of our Advisory Councils. These individuals represent a variety of organizations and industries, but are not required to meet on a regular basis. Instead, they review and provide feedback on the Working Committees’ minutes, and only volunteer when they feel it best serves their interest, or the interest of their organization. Advisory Councils are not limited to specific number of people. Contact us if you're interested in participating on the Advisory Council of a particular focus area.
